Biggest thing will be building back up the database that was there previously. Wonder how bad photo bucket will have killed everything.

Maybe we can contact pages that are no longer used regularly and ask if we can move their guides to this page.

Photobucket definitely felt like a death punch to forums. There were sooooo many forum pictures there. I like your idea of asking to share the data here though. Is there a way that we could better design such a database? Kind of like the sloppy mechanics wiki maybe? I could totally build one of those.

I agree, Facebook is getting old. I see myself using it much less in the future, so all of my pictures will be getting posted here though I may still use Instagram a bit. The whole photobucket thing really had an impact on all the forums I visit, past and present. A lot of people seem to use the attachment method on individual forums but the problem with that is unless you are a member of said forum, usually you can't view attachments, meaning you'd have to sign up just to view one or two pictures which sucks.

I think we need to advertise more to bring more people here, be it stickers, business cards, or online ads. I'd be willing to throw down some dough for ad space or whatever is needed. We need t-shirts as well!

So I crashed my go cart into a tree this past Sunday and at the moment was sure I must have broken my left hand/wrist/arm everything. However, once I got inside the house and evaluated the situation, it appeared I may have survived unbroken. I called up my friend that is a doctor (convenient right?) and she came to see if I was broken or not. She told me I basically jammed all my bones into each other and it is gonna hurt for a while. Take pain meds, and keep it on ice....If it is still terrible by Thursday go get an xray...

Mon + Tues my hand was swollen and hurting badly and my wrist wasn't been able to move all the way up and down without hurting really badly. Then last night, I moved weird, and I heard "SNAP", and suddenly like 50% of my pain was gone and my wrist moved again! So I may have dislocated it in the accident and popped it back into place two days later. Awesome right? Now I just need to hope the hand swelling goes down so my hand doesn't hurt so bad.

I'm 35 damn years old. I should not still be crashing go carts. lol

Owchies owchies owchies! Glad you ended up relatively unscathed.

How didya jam things? Steering wheel "Dr Strange" style? Bracing wrong? Branch through the cage?

Was there video from the cage cam?

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

You're never to old to crash! That's my fear with woods riding though, not only can you still crash, but you crash into things, trees, bushes, etc.

I basically punched the steering wheel with my body weight at like 15 mph when the go cart stopped and I didn't. At the same moment, the steering wheel took a HARD left, and twisted my arm like a pretzel because my hand was still grabbing it hard. Overall it wasn't great. lol

So a Dr. Strange incident, without the extreme case of broken fingers.

That could have been so much worse.

At least no turkeys were involved.
