I have four 4-foot fluorescent lights in my 2 car garage, and I replaced all the bulbs with LED's. The LED's are WAY better, and they turn on when it's cold, which is impressive. I probably need 4 more of them though, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I HIGHLY recommend LED's though. They were worth twice the price.

I redid the lighting at our shop with these.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N9REGKY

I think I went through 8 boxes. Very bright.

The two drop ceiling lights were replaced with these because they were slim enough to be installed without fully removing the old fixtures.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N42RVVV

Worked great, lots of light, and diffused nicely. They're like a skylight.

In the end, the t8 tube replacements I linked to on amazon are about the same price as the ones from Home Depot, possibly cheaper.
The con with the some of the ones at home depot is they require an electronic fluorescent ballast to be installed in addition to the LED tube, which just seems redundant.

Home Depot does have LED 2x4 bay lights for a reasonable price, if you don't mind them being ~2 inches deep.
I think they're the Lithonia Lighting branded ones.

Thanks E! This whole "getting older" thing isn't great. I prefer my 20's.

MY 20's, not THE 20's.....jerk. lol Seriously though - I think I would have been pretty cool in the 1920's. I'm all about that steampower.

Sooo, I got a new toy.

Well more than one new toy actually...

I got a refurbished Olympus TG Tracker 4K action camera while eBay was having their pre-memorial day sale coupon.

Also got a suction cup mount and another 128Gb micro SDXC card.

That leads to the second toy...

Sometime around January I lucked into a package deal of 3 jetskis, a boat, and 3 trailers for well below market at a pre-foreclosure sale.

One of em is a 1998 SEA-DOO GSX Limited with the 130HP 951 engine.

We've had it in the water the last two weeks and it's a freaking blast.
Highest recorded top speed is 57MPH, with room to go higher if we rebuild the jet pump and fix the tweaked intake grate.

Before it went in the water we threw a set of WORX Racing sponsons on, and set them for "Race Mode" turning. It handles like it's on rails...

Photos and videos to come in another thread!

Dang I bet those jetskis are fun! I've always wanted to try one. Can't wait to see some videos I've never heard of that action cam before.

I rode a cruiser last night for the first time ever. My buddy picked up this Yamaha bolt 950 just a few days ago. I actually liked riding it a lot more than I thought I would, and it's a good looking bike. You can't lean the damn thing though, I drug the pegs on the ground by the 3rd turn hahaha.

Jetskis, Motorcycles...... Well, I got a new TV stand!

Actually, an OLD TV stand...

So I'm driving down the streets of a very wealthy town nearby, and there is a 1940's? "credenza" in front of a house with 2 broken legs for free. I happen to need a TV stand, so I grab it, chop the broken parts of the legs off, and BOOOM New TV Stand that is kinda badass.

Happy 4th to you as well! I'm alive, work has been super crazy with it being summer and everyone going on vacation. I also hurt my back recently so I've been trying to take it as easy as possible. I have been working on a few things though and will have updates on multiple projects pretty soon. Finally going to get something done with my jeep and I'm pretty excited about having a vehicle capable of towing a small trailer.

Right now I'm mid track day prep on the Honda again since I'll be running at roebling road this Sunday. I really can't wait to get out on the track again, but it sucks that I hurt my back only 1 week before the track day. I'm hoping it doesn't hinder my performance too much. We may be looking at a wet track day as well, chance of rain now is 50% but we all know it changes by the second around here. After this track day, our trip to tail of the dragon is only another month away. In the middle of all that somewhere, a jeep build will happen, and after, a Honda build hahahaha.

I did upgrade my garage lights, 4 4ft led fixtures and a 200watt equivalent led bulb.

Nice and bright and instant turn on is so awesome. I do think I'll need 2 or 3 more 4ft fixtures.

Sorry to hear about your back! I got one of those long foam rollers on Amazon for $15 and it is frickin awesome. I don't have back issues (yet), but I know rolling my around my floor on that thing feels AMAZING. (One of these, but a bit longer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XM2MXK8?aa ... RkR6viw8hw)

Also - LOL at your extension cords & adapters. That looks like a "Do not do this" image you'd see in school to be an electrician.
