 Post subject: 2g harness and ecm

can anyone tell me if a MB530325 harness is the one i should be looking for that would be applied to a 1995 4g63t... or what should i be looking for if that isnt it?

and is the MD309947 ecm with e2t61674 below it is the ecm for that same engine 1995 4g63t?

As long as you wire things properly, the actual part numbers don't matter all that much. Personally, I would use all 1G DSM stuff myself because I think the 2G stuff looks more complicated.

Check out this link http://www.hotrodcoffeeshop.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=255 as it will help you determine the details of your ECU. :)

Bonus info: If you are determined to use 2G stuff, I do have a 2G harness that is for sale unless Ryan (knuckshaft) wants it. I know he had a 2G engine that could use a harness, and he gets first dibs. Did you buy his 2G engine?

Excellent! Well then I have a 2G harness available. :) That being said, I would recommend finding a 1G harness instead because I personally think they are easier to modify.

Also find a 1g cas sensor, and mpi relay.
