The red wire at the CAS has no power with key in any position.

The red cas wire ties into ECU pins 102 & 107 so I checked voltage were they come out of the ecu plug and there was no voltage.

I checked it on the actual ecu pins and none there as well.

I had just a few minutes tonight to mess with this, I'll be able to take a more time tomorrow night.

When I turn the key on / start I do have power on the mpi black with white stripe (3) and on black with red stripe (10).
When I plug in and remove small ecu plug mpi does not click.
Turning the key on and off it doesn't click.

Tomorrow I'm going to check my grounds again and make sure there's continuity and none are broke. Grounds are hooked up so....????

Do you have all the sensors still plugged into the Ecu? If so ...

Try unplugging anything unnecessary. Basically only keep the ecu, mpi, and power and ground hooked up, remove everything else, and see what happens. I wonder if your red sensor power is shorting to ground someplace.

Also - double check that the Ecu connectors are all snapped into place and not loose. I’ll try another crazy thing tomorrow as a test.

The ecu plugs are all tight.

Unplugged everything except ecu, mpi, power and ground and the mpi doesn't click and I still have no power to the cas.
I still only have power to cas if I manually close the relay.

I'm checking ground wires now while I wait for some more instructions.

Edit: I checked for continuity from every sensor that has a ground wire to the end of the ground wires and there all good.

Jonathan - this is weird! Haha! We're gonna fix it though! I'm determined! Tonight I'll run some tests on the red wires for the MPI relay and try to figure out why yours are not doing their job. We are getting closer - don't lose hope!

Do you have another ECU to plug in for the sake of fun?

Only ECU that I have.
If it makes it any easier I can send you my ECU or any other parts for diagnosing purposes!

Let's do 1 more round of testing. If that doesn't figure it out, I'd be happy to test it all for you on my end. If we can get it all into priority boxes, it will be fast and pretty cheap to do.

More to come late tonight...

Okay - for my last attempt before I have you mail it to me...

Turn the key to the run position...
Make sure the small yellow Ecu connector is plugged in
Make sure the mpi relay is plugged in
Make sure the black with a white stripe at the mpi has power
Make sure the black with a red stripe at the mpi has power
Unplug the middle Ecu connector
We want to test voltage of 3 specific wires in that yellow middle Ecu connector with it unplugged...
Do the two black with blue striped wires have power? They should with the connector unplugged.
Does the white with red stripe have power? It should.
Are you sure those 3 wires are in the right spots in the connector?

Fingers crossed!

Checked the 2 wires on the mpi relay and the 3 wires on the middle ECU and they all have power.
And there In the correct location.

How do I upload a YouTube video?

I'm leaning toward your ECU being bad now. If you want to mail it to me, I can test it with my setup and see what happens? or, I can mail you my crappy test ECU as long as you mail it back in a relatively short amount of time? :) The only catch is that I'm pretty sure your truck will run terribly with my ECU. There is something wrong with it if I recall correctly. It technically functions but acts wonky. I forget how.

Youtube Video!

Here's how I do it:
- Take a video on phone
- Open the YouTube app on my phone, and click the camera icon
- Choose the video and upload it to my youtube account
- Make sure it is public or unlisted on youtube
- Post the link into a forum post
- Remove the "S" from "HTTPS"
- Highlight the link and click the "Youtube" button when making a post.
- BOOM - YOUTUBE VIDS!

I'll just mail you mine.
It's a "new" remanufactured one from O'Reilly auto parts.
Be just my luck I spent the money on a bad ECU.
