It rained pretty much all day on my days off so I didn't get to ride much. It's about 15 miles from my house to work so today was really the test. Normally I could feel the heat through the top of my gas tank by the time I get to work but today the tank is still nice and cool so I have to assume the heat shielding is working. It is a little cooler out today but I can't imagine that making too much of a difference.

Well I was going to go ahead and get the 600rr rear wheel and most of the other things I need for the swingarm swap this week, but I've decided to hold off on that an buy something much more fun. Stay tuned

Oem goodness!

After a month the Honda should finally be running again tomorrow. The oem parts were priced a good bit higher than aftermarket alternatives, but if I get another 60k out of it I'll be happy.

Stator and rectifier. I wanted to get a new reinforced stator cover as well but I'd have to wait another two weeks and the weather is too nice right now to miss out on riding.

It's that time of year again. I got a few new strings of lights a couple days ago. Leds this time so hopefully I won't have as many problems this year.

Fresh wash and wax. There's clear over spray all over the bike from when we painted the pit bike wheels. It's almost time for new fairings anyway.

I had to redo my power socket, inverter and switch since I did the tail swap earlier this year.

Some good Ole zip ties to keep everything German spec

300 lights total, only about 250 visible, and close to 200 suction cups and some zip ties hold it all together.

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

I hate when people use ups to ship stuff, it's so slooooooooooow

Also pay pal sucks. They've double charged me for just about everything I've bought on eBay recently. Every time I call them about it they point the finger at my bank, and my bank points their finger at PayPal. There should be a better way.

Yeah. Paypal is literally the worst. Everything about that company feels like it is from like 2001. I like eBay, but I really wish Paypal was not the only option. eBay is losing more market share to Amazon each year, so they are going to need to do something soon if they want to stay in business long term. Offering other payment options would be a nice start.

Got a few parts in. Finally going to put on this 600rr swing arm I've had for almost a year. I was originally sent the wrong brake caliper bracket so I got the correct one in and a 600rr cush drive.

Still waiting on my wheel. I'll still have to get a tire and get the wheel powder coated but I'll start the swap once it gets here. I need to either buy or make a socket for the swing arm pivot bolt as well.
