Hey ryan how much did you have to modify your firewall with the jays adapter?

I had actually cut the firewall before installing the jay racing front exit set up. And I had to modify the thing to work. I don't have it on the truck yet, I ended up getting I killer deal on a rear exit set up that someone made and was parting out their truck. You can use a 1.8l mistu tsat housing hose connector and use that for a better rear exit set up also. My front set up works fine, but I didn't put it back on with my current set up. But I will be switching that fairly soon after I get a few more miles on my truck and I'm ready to tune it and need to get more room to adjust my cam gears to get the most out of my bc 280 cams.

I am wanting to buy a large 16g turbo this year and I need some advice.

Are the $200-$300 turbos on ebay (cx racing ect) decent or not?
This is my first build and a budget build at that, so anything is going to be crazy fast to me compared to 80ish hp!!

If there junk what kind would you recommend? And from were?
Thanks for the input.

I really think the stock 14B's are a great value for the money. Try to get a nice 14B or a used (but good shape) MHI 16G if you can. I would probably not go with one of the knock-off 16G's for now, especially on your first 4G63 swap. You are introducing a lot of mystery onto an engine that will already have plenty. :)

Hoping the wider rear tires will help keep me from being a one wheel wonder until I can get a limited slip!

Any thoughts??

I like it. Unfortunately, you will still be a one wheel wonder even with wide tires. :)

No garage = no good

Not a must at all. It moves the shifter rearward about 3 inches. So if your 4g63 sits a few inches forward, then the starion tail section moves the shifter back to the stock location. I didn't have one for a few years and my 4g63 swap worked just fine :)
