Some of you may recognize me from such forums as ProjectZeroG and GalantVR.org, but to those that don't, I'm Tim and I love my Mitsubishis lol.
I'll keep it short and sweet...
Cars I currently own
'75 Colt Galant Wagon,
Image
originally fitted with a 4g32 1.6l with a spun bearing when I bought it..no problem! Swapped in the 4g52 from my 77 wagon and called it a day more or less. Now I'll be swapping a 4g54b wideblock bottom end,so that I can use the more common wideblock KM132 pickup trans (narrowblock KM132s are hard to come by out here), using my g52 head to bump compression up and running sidedraft carbs. NO EFI ever to touch it lol

76 Coupe
Image
This car which was also a 4g32 and KM110 car, is undergoing a pretty much complete overhaul lol.
Chassis wiring is being replaced with a Galant VR4 harness
Galant VR4 fuel tank
Toyota 8" rear axle (4.10)
R154 5spd
2.3L g63t - was my GVR4's motor I was building, but change of plans :).
Old School FP Red
Starion front struts, knuckles, and widebody hubs/brakes
Wilwood brake/clutch pedal assembly (dual brake master cylinders)
Etc etc..

Yep! Crew Cab 5spd, had 231k when I got it, 14k of those miles were put on from 2004-feb 2013, then sat for 2 months when I got ahold of it. It's been pretty well taken care of it's whole life.

Just picked up a g54b wideblock shortblock (flat top) yesterday from the local junkyard. Wagon will be breathing new life soon :). Probably going to pull my g52 head this weekend, inspect, clean, and hopefully install on the g54b. Bump up the compression with the small porthead ;). Need to buy some Dellorto 40mms now.

You showed up a wee bit late. I had a set of mikuni 44s that Errol bought. I do still have a g52 side draft intake and a rebuilt non jet valve g52 head. If your interested.

Are all cars out there rust free? Why are those cars not rusty?

I'll let you know about the head when I inspect mine for cracks this weekend! I had a set of 44s I sold a while back as well. I'll have access to a whole jetting set a buddy has for his 77 Rally Colt lol with getting Dellortos. Don't need the manifold, recently got one too :). Linkage fab up will be interesting lol. My red one has a little on the left rail in the bay and the yellow one only has it on the rear decklid under the rear windshield and battery tray. Cars mostly don't rust away up here, we get snow in the mountains, but we also don't salt the roads either.

Seeing car from the 1900s,20,30s and up isn't uncommon around here lol when it's nice out.

Only my gvr4 and Blue '77 wagon were rust buckets from the east coast, vr4 (Boone/Asheville NC it's whole life), '77 (Williamsport,PA/Conway, SC).

Your powerstroke will run forever. Mine currently has 347000 miles on it. It still runs like new and engine and driveline haven't even been cracked open yet. Y

And I've seen a pretty epic burnout video of Ryans. The diesel engine definitely works well. :)

As far as I know of my truck's history, original owner was a Ford tech, 2nd owner maintained it, 3rd owners don't count lol. 3rd owners bought it for their son to haul hay and stuff, but he didn't want a manual (knew how to drive one, but created bullshit excuses to me in person why he didn't like the ZF5 lol), so his parents went out and bought him another 95 F350 CC Powerstroke 4x4 with an auto lol and this poor truck just sat from Jan to April when I got it.

Bed is rhinolined too. Favorite feature is the moonvisor, it's like a baseball cap for trucks!

3rd gear has issues on mine though, doesn't always fully engage so it slips out and grinds :| .

At one point in time I had a 91 Galant VR4 and then I stripped and scrapped the rusty shell.
