Ryan for the win.

So why did the belt skip? Bad tensioner?

I am not sure, I thought the tensioner failed but upon looking over everything the lower crank gear for the belt walked out and the key is chewed up, I think the guy that put the bottom end together through a sh*t key in that had play in it. Maybe I am wrong but it wouldn't be the first thing he messed up (he also mixed up two of the rod caps which caused me a major headache) but it is forcing me to learn how to do it all myself. Unfortunately it is taking money away from setting it up as planned. any idea what hp I can look forward to with the 470's assuming I get it running once the new head goes on?

I have it all wrapped up. I'm going to get by the post Office directly after work. I had to pick up some wrapping materials. I don't want it showing up busted!

I'm not involved, but it would likely be a lot cheaper to send it through UPS or Fedex than the Post Office. :)

I do the post office only because for me to go anywhere also would cost alot more in fuel. Fed ex and ups are in San Antonio. I avoid that city if I can.

Lol. Understandable. I often forget how large Texas is with a lot of space in between things!

Yes sir there is. I ended up finding a ups store in a relatively close distances. USPS wanted alot and it didn't make it feasible to do it there. It should be there no later than wed. Ill get the tracking info when I get home.
