Two remaining items and the timing part will all be purchased.
So concerning the timing belt tensioner, the oem is $99, so im curious if there is another quality part that could be recommended for less money? Gates ect....
If not i will save a few extra $s and go oem.

Trying to be frugal but not cheap,
Just not sure if "OEM" is more hype than reality!
Thanks for the advice.

I'd look into a solid tensioner. I think jay racing makes one.

Gates, Dayco, OEM.
Any Mitsuboshi kits should be good as well. (Not a typo, Mitsuboshi Belting Ltd. )

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

I personally have used the ones I sell at my work. I'll be buying another tomorrow in fact. I'm not sure who make them, but I'll check tomorrow and let you know if it's a name brand or not.
