This car I bought for 50 bucks. It had caught on fire from the headlights to the front windsheild. I rebuilt it and dropped in a stock stratus 2.4 dohc engine. I threw a 20 dollar used srt4 turbo on it and got it into the low 14s on 6psi and no intercooler. This car was never titled to my name unfortunately. The kid who owned it's father passed away from a heart attack if I'm not
mistaken, And the title was in his name and a California title (we live in tx) so after 1.5 years of a run around and the guy no longer trying, I stripped the car down, cut it up into sections of 8 and sent the kid pics. He was pissed, but I was tired of not returned phone calls and the last 6 months of hearing it will be here in aweek. I also got 6 tickets in one stop and harrassed about driving it around with my shops land lords dealer tag. Christmas day 2005 I did the largest burn out I had done to that point. I locked the front of the car upto a lowered dually and roasted the tires till they popped. Make a long story short I caught a bunch of he'll and the town of converse tried to fine me. I never liked red neons but this 4dr would have been fav red one I have owned. The whole front end of this car had the duplicolor rattle can pr4 red on it. Even being a spray job, with a little clear on it and buffed out you couldn't tell it was a spray paint job.

I was just looking through your old Neons pics. I like that your coupe was the skunk paint scheme. I heard somebody refer to my old sedan as that at a car show. I would just call it "black & silver". I posted more pics of my 98 R/T sedan on here in the build thread section but now I am thinking I should have put it in this section. Can it be moved? If so, how would I do that? I also have pics of the 98 Plymouth Neon Expresso sedan that I used to have. It was white and had the 2.0L DOHC engine with an auto trans. The trans quit on me after a year and 20,000 miles of driving, so I gave it to a friend to use for a project at mechanic school. My friend Jason that ended up with the Expresso put a rebuilt trans in it and tinted the taillights, then sold it to a coworker. I need to snap some pics of his daily driver. It's a blue 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 with an AGP turbo kit and methanol injection. He has quite the reputation in these parts because of that car.

MOPAR BABY! haha
