Re: Post up your old rwd colt pics
Man my brother had a first gen car for some years. We were going to put a 340 in it. He fell on hard times, finally sold it.
I've wanted one of those for a long time, now I think I'm too busy to take on a project like that. I'd would have built a Pro/Stock, matchrace style car with it, and instead of running a big block and glide like everyone esle does, use a small block and real four speed in it. If you want to see pix of all the great early Colts that were built for P/S, go to http://www.prostockhemi.com and check out the galleries. "Hemi Fred" has quite a collection of all things hemi Mopar.

Thanks for the link Gary, there are some nice old school stuff in there! Post up some pics of that Arrow
Back in '07, I almost bought a 78 arrow gt, drove up to Millwaukee in the middle of winter and the thing was full of bondo and rust, nothing like the owner described the car, so I passed on it.

I'll try to dig up some pics of one that just posted up on craigslist a while back. It was called a Plymouth sapporro or something like that it was in beautiful shape and they wanted like 2500 for it

Yeah, those are a bit bigger than the colts. The Sapporo and Dodge Challenger were more of a mid-size car, some of them came turbocharged, I believe they had g63bt engines in them. Neat cars, and apparently they were pretty light also.knuckshaft wrote:I'll try to dig up some pics of one that just posted up on craigslist a while back.
