The silvia is finally done! We picked up the car on sunday morning and it made the 5hr drive home no problem.












This is sam from Tiger Racing in Atlanta. He is a one man crew and does everything himself. He finished the car in 3 days where as Lethal Injection (another shop in atl) couldnt finish it in 3 months.

That is a cool swap. Where did you get all of the rhd parts from and what did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

no problem asking, but its not a swap my friend. Its the real deal. He paid around 3500 for the shell. the motor, trans, suspension and wheels we swapped over from his old 240sx

wow 3500 is really not that bad. and the jdm car is lighter because of the less strick safety laws so thats amazing! what did it come with for things like, bumpers, interior, electronics though?

The shell was already painted, full interior with fancy digital climate control, the bride seat and nardi steering wheel, the body kit is a GP Sports and was also already on the car. It also came with JIC exhaust. Thats about it I think. The sr, trans, and wheels are off of the old car, as well as the s15 limited slip diff. The coilovers are apexi's and their brand new. It also runs the Apexi Power FC computer from the old car.

Also if you guys wanted to know the track is Grand Prize of America Raceway (I believe) It's about 20min from my house. The kicker is they built the track, and used it for only one race! It was closed off completely for a long while, but it's partially open now. The police use the pit area for training exercises and scca runs autox out there, but no one really runs on the track anymore, lame.

Ah ok so it's grimmaces car? That's awesome to find an intact imported car. How hard was the titling process. I've heard ga. Was the easiest state to get a title for a car that was shipped over

yes it's grimace's car. Im not sure on the titling issue. He lives in South Carolina so i'm sure it's different there.

SC is by far one of the best states to own cars in. I have ZERO Emission/Inspection laws here. With the right paper work you can register imports with out much trouble. Hell, You can drive a truck sitting on 44's to a full tube chassis drag car for all they care. As long as it has the usual necessities (lights, windows ect) you're good.

I LOVE the Cobra wheels on it! Is the alignment off or just the steering wheel?
