Suspension Gathering

Post by TheKwinkyist » Wed Aug 22, 2012 10:10 pm

Hey all

So i'm finally going for the suspension build and trying to figure out what i want to do with the rear end. I'm not sure if i should keep the live axle or if i should go with an independent suspension. I do plan on having it all lowered.

Some links to other builds like this would be a great help

I love the idea of independent rear suspension, but it is also a ton of work. I think if I were to put something better in my truck, I would do coil overs, the stock solid rear axle, and a 4-link. That would be a sweet adjustable setup that isn't a ton of work. :)

That does sound alot easier and doesnt seem like it would take to long to do. :) Thank you for the idea Jeremy.

Im stil toyin around with the idea of using a talon rear (that just doesn't look like it will take too much beating) and a Quest rear suspension that looks lots beefy.
