I utilized a Chevy II (early Nova) oil pan/pickup to help to clear the center link.
BUT, Goofy me DIDN'T measure accurately, just eyeballed it. SO, I was just wondering if the spindle/knuckles can be swapped side to side?
Nevermind that..
OK, what about lengthening the pittman and idler arms and making a sliding shaft that would be mounted to the back of the front crossmember and Hiem joints at the end going toward the attachment points of the tie-rods.
I decided on a Chevy since I have tons of parts for them. Blocks, heads, intakes and tranny's...
I should've gone with a Chrysler 318/overdrive like I want to do to this 86 auto.
I already have a line on a Diplomat with EVERYTHING still attached to engine.
