I remember hearing something last year that Mercedes has decided not to sell any new unimogs over here. I do not know if this was limited to Canada or if they were referring to all of North America. A 30 year old 404 is costly up here, I would hate to see what a new one would go for

Hood, roof, trunk painted metal flake like a bass boat.
Orig (regal blue met, EE-5) paint on sides, Med blue tinted glass (like John Lennons' glasses) Leather int from a 300c-rt, SRT-10 truck driveline (w/6spd) and working air,
either blue or amber high beams, 17" salt flat rims- 8"fr 10"rr, 3" exhaust with electronic cut-outs.

Based on the weird roof line, I'll guess an AMC? Or maaaybe a oddball ford product?

I want to build a ~32 Ford style hotrod right now pretty badly. I hate that there are 2 bazillion of them out there and they are all worth so much damn money. That said - if we were to each build one and sell it to some rich guy/gal, we could be rich! (And then build cars that are much cooler)

A guy like 3 houses down the street from me has a 51 ford that is all surface rust, but he drives the hell out of it and loves life. It's awesome. He also has a ~48 Ford truck that is primered and sweet looking. Ford made some good looking stuff back then!
