Glad it was an easy fix!

When you said you cleaned the carbs fully, I took your word and didn't think to question it. :p

Some people never have anything except ideas. Go do it.
Emissions & fuel economy haven't exactly been areas of strength for past rotary power plants, but absolutely no one with a soul has ever cared.

Yeah I apparently spaced out bigtime when I had the carbs all apart. I removed all the jets and stuff, cleaned them, cleaned all the passages inside the carb and then reassembled. I must have gotten sidetracked because I never pulled the mixture screws out. DOH!

I cannot wait to do a little riding this weekend. My only gripe is that now my bike is way louder than it was. When I cut the muffler in half, I only put about half the packing back in. I really should get a different muffler all together. Anybody got a spare?

Stainless tubing, stainless window screen, and fiberglass insulation. That's the spare!

Basically just anything that will quiet my bike down a fair amount. I am open minded to ideas, and I'm happy to cut it up to my liking. Right now it is somewhat obnoxious.

What about making a muffler out of sheet metal and put baffles inside

I may resort to that - I just like the idea of plopping one on with minimal effort. :)

Hmmm, that may actually be perfect if the pictures on the internet are correct.. Is it chambered? or straight through? Any idea?

Nope, the roads are still HEAVILY covered in sand, and there is tons of melting snow going on. Once the environment cleans up a bit, I will be. :)
