Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
No major updates, fixed my door sagging issues on both doors also added new door seals. What a pain to remove the old pins, lots of hammering and drilling. Painted my side emblems and added my IG decal onto my fuel cell. IG: 4G63LUV

Thanks Jeremy!
Made a few updates and cruise shots. Relocated my coil pack under the evo 8 manifold with zero issues using JMF relocation bracket. Also made a cover piece wrapped in carbon to cover up my ECU and wiring. I still want to clean up the wiring in the engine bay.

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Did you make the dimple-die valve cover center? I would love some dimple dies but they are so damn expensive everywhere. I'd love to know if somebody finds a place that isn't a million dollars for them.
Also - great looking work/truck as always
UPDATE: Back on page 6 - I asked the same question - and you got it on ebay. lol Bummer!

Couple of weeks ago lol
Happy Free Ride Friday! #readyforliftoff
Had a minor electrical issue where #LUVLEE didn't want to start. Towed home and started right up at home lol, keyless ignition issue got fixed. At least nothing major, she is back on the road.

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Not the lift I wanted to do on the luv today lol. Transmission decided to come out because it only wanted to stay in 1st. Not bad to drop out of this luv with a 4g63 connected to it. It's nice to have friends in high places, thanks for letting me use the lift and a flat bed trailer.

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Yup the problem was the automatic, never used one or know how to use it so it blew up haha. True story too...
I didnt know it needed a vacuum line or a kick down cable, drove with it for about 1000 miles then it started slipping, poor trans.

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Its not too bad. I wish it was fully auto but only shifting from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 2nd 90% of the time. 1st gear is hard from 1-2. Makes it a little squirrely at the top of the rpm shifting from 1-2. @ low rpm 1-2 it shifts harsh due to the nature of the manual valve body. So I stay in 2nd & 3rd driving around town. Definitely need better suspension, which hopefully I get to during the winter. I have front coilovers on hand already.
So far couple hundred miles on the trans, so far so good...

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Excellent to hear! Is there a reason you went with a manual valve body?

Re: Project ChevishLUV 4G63T Truck Build
Kevin Jewer suggested it to me, and it would eliminate all the vacuum modulator and kickdown cable. So no more worrying about those things.
