Looks great! Now is a nice time to clean up the engine bay and remove any junk that doesn't need to be there!

Yeah I pressure washed the engine bay, next I want to sand down the surface rust that's in the engine bay and spray paint it to keep it from more rusting and look nice.
Then after that will be mocking up the motor and trans for the motor mounts to be welded.
I am in the lookout for a welder locally to help me weld it on.

Picked up a rare set of LUV wheels that are 14x6 5x4.5 lug pattern.
Deciding to paint it or leave it chrome.

Whoa, those rock! I would leave them chrome since they are in such nice shape.

I agree, I'd leave them chrome. Especially if they all look as good as that one does.

Small update. Picked up an evo 8 intake manifold and sent it to Bill's auto fab to get injector holes welded. I cut part of the egr hole and evo fuel rail standoffs and then painted with high temp black. Looking good on this 2G head.

Are you going to leave the truck black or paint it?

Paint looks like crap so I am probably going to paint it, not clear on what exact color but thinking of a dark graphite gray or something similar

I think dark grey would be pretty good looking on the truck. Wonder how it'd look with all the chrome blacked out with the grey?
