no wiring yet. I am afraid of wiring lol. Gotta learn some how, so I will look thru my 1g harness and label everything and remove any old tape and coverings then add some sheathing or wire protection. For sure I am changing out the injector plugs for 2g injector plugs for easy removal and install.

Yeah, you are in the right place for 4G63 wiring. We have more info here than anywhere else.

Very small update. Found a place to install my trans cooler and then installed the front bumper. And fitted my under tray, not pictured. I am still working on wiring and dropped off rear end to shorten it.

Rear end update. Explorer 8.8 Shortened, painted, axles installed, calipers bolted. Original gas tank removed and wow it's clean inside for a 40 year old tank. Tires are mounted on wheels. Next is clean up the leaf springs, add bushings, make some rear brake lines, install the rear end in the truck.

Man, you do some nice work. Also - I have no idea how that tank is so clean. That is amazing!

Nice tonneau cover you just built. Impressive skills you have there. It kinda looks like a premium tonneau cover with the tri-fold design.

Finally rear end installed, bushings installed, brake lines fabbed and installed with brackets welded up, wheels and tires mocked up with full weight of truck. Next is to install brake master cylinder with brake fluid to check for leaks, and start mocking up fuel cell then electrical harness.
Thanks for following, Merry Christmas more to come!

Was going to see how the ride is before trimming the bump stop. The rear end is a 3.73 POSI

I'm not sure how your truck will react, but on mine, I had crazy wheel hop until I added some cheap traction bars. They made a MASSIVE difference in traction. Honestly, it got a little less fun/scary to drive when I added them, but at least I wasn't wrapping my leaf springs like a pretzel!

Merry Christmas! Finally got to finishing up the front and rear brakes with the master cylinder installed, all bled no leaks. Finished up the lines for the trans cooler. Next either fuel cell or electrical. Fuel cell area is being cleaned up and painted in the truck bed.

Looks great! What upper thermostat housing are you using? I've never seen one like that before?
