Will you have a bed cover of some sort to hide all that stuff? I feel like in my neck of the woods, people would screw around with all that if it was left in a mall parking lot.

Yeah I got the bed cover, still debating on using it now lol. It will be a hassle to remove that cover just to fill up on gas, but then again I wont be filling up every day haha.
I will be working on the harness this weekend for sure.

Well the electrical has begun. Stripped it more down and removed all the unnecessary wires. Then thru it onto the truck and see what goes where. All wires are near the correct sensors, still needs more clean up and some protective sheathing. And still need to add battery/alternator/starter/ignition harness.

If it were me I'd be wanting to leave the bed cover off just because the fuel cell looks cool hahaha. It is a vandal magnet though.

Hey everyone. Need a little help. Would this work for me on my 4g63 Chevy luv? Battery is in the bed. Picture of my diagram, let me know if it is hard to read. I know there are existing diagrams but 4g63 luv is a little confusing. I'm not an electrical person lol.

Okay I have a few suggestions.
- your fuses are larger amperages than they need to be. I’d use the same amperages that the truck originally had. I can look up what the dsm stuff is if you need it.
- it looks like your fuel pump will be Running 24/7. You should add a relay in there that turns the pump on with the key. I’m happy to draw a diagram of it will help.
- I think the blue wire on your alternator will work, but generally those go through dash lights. So when the terminal goes dead on the alternator, the dash light turns on.
- the mpi relay needs some more action than what you have there. This video may help. https://youtu.be/Bf7eWOeEA-g

Diagrams will help me alot. I do have a relay next to the fuel pump shown in "R".
The trucks alternator was about 30A to 50A. Should I just stick with 100A due to my alt is 90A.
I still have not figured out how to wire up the c-67, c-58, c-59 plugs on the dsm harness.

Minor update. Electrical is almost done, wrapped in sheathing. Then I made a gauge cluster for my LUVLEE and wrapped in carbon wrap. Used some equus gauges and Autometer boost gauge and black one is innovate wideband. Still need to work on battery starter and interior connections. Driveshaft is in the making. Thanks to Jeremy Nutt for helping me on the electrical portion, I think I have everything to make it start for the first time in a couple of years.

Looking awesome! Is there anything between the manifold head shield and that water pipe? I feel like you could use some additional air space in between there. That manifold gets crazy hot, and I'd be afraid you may boil the antifreeze if it is touching the heat shield.

There is some space maybe the closest point of hitting is about .5-1" and I have tried shaking the pipe to see if it would hit with the motor vibrating and it doesn't hit. But wouldn't hurt to add some reflective tape or heat resistant cover. Thanks!

Keep the updates coming- I'm considering trading my C10 for a 1980 LUV. This build looks sick!

Getting closer to starting this. Few more items like ignition wiring, gauges wiring, driveshaft install and fluids. Wiring has been tough but great help all around. Shifter installed and gauges lighted up. Hopefully next update will be video walk around and engine start.

Damn! That is some quality stuff you have there! I don't know how you can resist hacking it together real quickly to make it work, and then going back to make it pretty after. You have far more patience than I do!
