I just ordered a set of air shocks for the rear of the truck so that I can through 120psi into them and use the truck as a truck still!! Pretty excited about it, they will be in tomorrow. Does anyone have any experiance with these?

Saddly I never drove in HS, but it'd be a good idea to use a remote-fill kit with the shocks I'd think. Less crawling round the tire and all that jazz...

I usually mount the fill schraeder valve near the rear liscence plate on the bumper. Then t off of that to both shocks. My highschool career ended when I was 16. That's when I graduated. My driving to school career was short lived

Oh and on the timing chain deal. Make sure you time the oil pump with the engine. I cannot stress that part enough. And to prime the oil pump, disconnect the ignition system and crank it tons and tons and tons of times before you fire it back up.

I took all honors classes early in highschool. When I decided I wanted to work more than go to school, I went to a special branch of the school and tested out of everything and finished in like 2 weeks. I graduated November 17th 2000

Another easy way to prime is to use a hand transfer pump to force the last quart into the engine through the sensor plug. Worked for me.

Oh well I got them in and I went from hitting the axle off the frame by pushing down on my bedside, so putting my heavy 450lb quad in the back and driving around NO PROBLEM!!!! wooo I have a truck again.

Ryan > Congrats on being smart and a fellow year 2000 graduate! Y2K Baby, yeah Y2k....

Greg! Smokey Bones FTW & Air shocks 4LFE.....

They were pretty awesome on my 94 S10 as well, but I sold it, and have regretted it often....

well Just so you know guys, autozone carries gabrial air shocks, 64.99 for the kit, two shocks and all the lines and fittings you need. Not to shabby, and even if you dont need them, but need rear shocks I feel like its worth it just to have on standby

Ok so I think I am going to throw a 14b turbo onto the truck. But if I cant find a SOHC 240 intake manifold then this will work. This was really just an excuse to practice welding aluminum more. And I must say that I think this welding thing is all about PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!
