Nope, I went up to relax with some adult beverages on the lake. When I said there was a D21 in every yard, I meant that every person in Maine, owns a D21, and it is rotting in their yard.

Well it cracked right where the oil pump shaft goes through it so I didn't want to warp that area and have the probabibility of oil leaks, there is so much stuff I have to take off to get to it.

Ok so I pretty much finished up the timing chain cluster-f. The chain, gides, gears and tensioner are all in and running nice and quiet. The engine sounds so solid and almost no valve noise either. But something is leaking coolant (shouldnt really be a big deal) and I dont have a timing light so I have not messed with timing and the replacement timing cover is made for a different distributer so I am going to the junk yard tomorrow to try to grab one.

Boooo. I have a timing light. You can swing by and time the truck today while I'm pimping out a Caprice?

1800 Bucks for that other hardbody, also a 97. But its got some body damage, it makes me wonder what I can get for mine.
