New on the scene 85 ram 50

Post by 85ram50 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 12:27 am

Picked up an 85 ram 50 last spring from a buddy of mine for 400 runs and drives perfect. only down side is it needs paint the springs are cut. Right now Im in the process of repainting my truck at my uncles friends auto body shop as a senior project so I can graduate. Once I am done painting my truck Im looking to put a 4g63t in it. Now I have been reading a lot of build threads on this site and it seems that every one does the 2nd gen trucks. So my question is will this swap work if i use stock mounts and modify my fire wall. Thanks yall this website makes me wanna hurry up and finish repainting my truck and do the motor swap.

I might also add that your truck is quite low. I like it!

Finally get to bring the rest of the truck down to the auto body shop so I can finish doing body work on the bed and cab. Then its time for some new paint :D Its taking a lot of work and time but it will be worth it in the end!
