You mean the pulley itself or where it attaches to the water pump? If you mean the pulley what is a good way to do it and get it straight?

Best way is to use a hammer and a block of wood or a dead blow hammer. Set if on flat level ground and check it with a level. Or you can put it on the pump and spin it, and check itbwith the belt. You will see it wobble if it's not strait.

+1. Just to reinforce what Ryan said..... Take the pulley off, set it on the ground and smash it flat with a hammer. You may have to bolt it on and unbolt it a few times to get it perfect. You won't know if its straight until you spin it.

Ok problem number 2. I have the Jay's Racing front exit thermostat housing and I cannot bolt the thermostat housing on because the damn pulley hits it. What am I doing wrong?

Ah yes, somewhere I read about that issue a long time ago. I feel like something needed to be notched, though i'm not real sure. Ryan - do you have the front thermostat housing on your truck?

No, but your timing was probably not quite right.
