These pics are also of a stock hydraulic pedal.

i found a couple mid 90's Mazdas and Rangers in a local yard; and the mounting on their clutch pedal brackets looks very similar to the V6 Ram50 ones; but the actually pedal looks much shorter, and doesnt jog over the to right quite as much. i would probably get one and modify it, but if i'm going to have to modify the mounting and pedal anyway, this is looking more and more plausible:
$60 from Jegs, looks super simple and sturdy. it's looking like i might go this route; i'm going out to measure right now. stay tuned.

You may also want to check out 2G DSM pedals. I have a odd feeling that they are strangely similar to the MM Ram 50's, though I'm not sure why.

Hey Jeremy what t.o.b. are you using with your hydro swap? It isn't listed anywhere that I saw.

Good question. I honestly don't remember if it's a DSM piece or the stock one from the truck. They may actually be the same part. If I had to pick, I would say I'm 65% sure it is the stock one for the truck.

I haven't had one of these trucks in quite a while, so I haven't kept up on this topic. I always had good luck wandering junkyards and finding stuff I needed though. Look for similar era cars/trucks and see what looks similar. Interestingly, I recently used factory mightymax pedals in a 72 Nova. They fit surprisingly well.

Oh okay, well i found a set of pedals today for 50$. So ill pick those up in a few days. Im trying to get all the parts together that i need to do a 2.4 dohc with a hydraulic clutch. So that way i can do everything at once. I was going to keep the cable but after ready everything about your old truck I'm just going to go ahead and do it right. Lol

The hydraulic clutch swap was well worth the effort. The cable clutch setup was barely usable.

I'd almost recommend a hydraulic throwout bearing for the transmission, since it wouldn't require the cutouts.
