Hello from Tennessee

I bought a 1993 Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon back in May. It has a 4G64 engine that is very similar to the Mighty Max/D50, so I've been reading a lot of posts here in my research for possible upgrades in the future. I figured I might as well sign up in case I need advice beyond what I can find on my own.

While I am currently fine with the power I get from the stock engine, I think it would be cool to modernize it a little to get a little more power and a few more miles/gallon would be nice too. I'm currently looking at what all would be involved in head swaps, either from the Montero Sport 4G64 16v SOHC or from a DOHC 4G64 from one of the many cars that had them. I know a DOHC would leave me open for a better possible future upgrade to a turbo if I felt like I needed more.

Anyway, those are some of my ramblings right now. I'm glad to be here.

Hi Jarrod! Your Delica is absolutely beautiful! I actually just stumbled on a fleet of these Delicas the other day on the side of the road at a shop in New Hampshire. Maybe 4-5 of them? It's great to see so many people restoring these things! Got any more pictures of yours?

I think I am in a Discord server with at least one of those people you saw in NH. Most of the L300 Star Wagons you see are going to be the 4D56 diesels. I had to go out of my way to get a 4G64 model because I knew I'd want to do something more with the engine.
